The International ArtScience Olympiad (IASO), also known as the International Olympiad ArtScience Contest (IOASC), was founded in 2003, serving as a global platform that celebrates the fusion of artistic expression and scientific innovation. Drawing its name from the Greek goddess of healing and light, IASO symbolizes the harmonious blend of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. This competition invites secondary and university students from over 50 countries to showcase original projects that encompass a wide array of fields, including Digital Innovation and Sustainable Design.

IASO employs a rigorous peer-review process, ensuring that the work is evaluated by esteemed experts in art, science, and education. Beyond recognizing exceptional creativity and technical skill, IASO fosters a rich environment for cross-cultural exchange. Participants have the opportunity to connect with mentors, scholars, and industry leaders, transforming their individual inspirations into innovative solutions that enhance the human experience. Iaso International Film Festival (IIFF) 

The Iaso International Film Festival (IIFF) is a premier global platform dedicated to the "ArtScience" movement. Headquartered in Los Angeles, the festival operates under the mission "ArtScience Heals." 

It serves as a collaborative nexus for global filmmakers and researchers, focusing on the synthesis of cinematic storytelling, emerging technology, and scientific inquiry.

The festival recognizes excellence through a prestigious four-pillar framework:

· Verity Prize: Scientific truth and data-driven discovery.

· Mythos Prize: Universal storytelling and cultural heritage.

· Poiesis Prize: Creative innovation and technical mastery.

· Chresis Prize: Social utility and the practical application of art to heal.

International Olympiad ArtScience Exhibition

The International Olympiad ArtScience Exhibition celebrates the creative interplay between art and science through curated visual and immersive experiences. It comprises two principal components:

· Specially commissioned works by internationally acclaimed artists exploring the fusion of art and science—such as bio-art installations using lab-cultivated materials or data-driven murals depicting climate patterns.

· A curated showcase of exemplary projects from the IASO, presenting the visionary work of emerging young creators.

To ensure accessibility and global engagement, the exhibition tours major cultural capitals, partnering with museums, science centers, and educational institutions to host lectures, artist dialogues, and interactive workshops.

By bridging established artistry and emerging innovation, the exhibition invites audiences to perceive art as a pathway to scientific understanding and science as a wellspring of artistic inspiration.

Study Tours & Inquiry-Based Learning

The Study Tours & Inquiry-Based Learning program redefines education through immersive, experiential exploration.

Designed for students, educators, and researchers passionate about art-science integration, these programs lead participants to global centers of innovation—from Silicon Valley's AI laboratories to European cultural institutions housing art-science masterpieces such as Leonardo da Vinci's anatomical studies.

Complementing these tours, Inquiry-Based Learning initiatives empower participants to undertake self-directed projects that address real-world challenges—such as urban sustainability or equitable technology—through creative, research-driven solutions.

All activities are mentored by our international network of experts, who guide participants in developing analytical thinking, collaboration, and cross-disciplinary problem-solving skills that transcend conventional educational models.

Workshops & Themed Activities

The Workshops & Themed Activities program offers accessible, practice-oriented learning opportunities for participants of all ages, emphasizing hands-on engagement and community collaboration.

Workshops are led by specialists in diverse areas, including AI for Artistic Creation (machine learning for visual and musical arts), Science Communication Through Installation Art (transforming scientific concepts into participatory experiences), and Eco-Art Design (integrating sustainable materials and environmental awareness into artistic practice).

Complementary activities include quarterly webinars with leading practitioners, community art-science festivals organized in partnership with local organizations, and Innovation Labs—short-term collaborative sessions where participants prototype small-scale art-science projects.
